HI JOYCE. I'M ALWAYS INTERESTED WHEN SOMEONE TRYS TO TRACE THEIR ENTENMAN HERITAGE.YOU'D THINK WITH A LAST NAME LIKE ENTENMAN THAT IT WOULD BE EASY BUT IT'S NOT.MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS ALSO NAMED JOHN. HIS MIDDLE INITIAL WAS M WHICH I BELIEVE STOOD FOR MARIAN. HE WAS BORN NOV. 6 1839, AND WAS MARRIED TO MARY YODER ON MARCH 24,1870.FROM OLD LETTERS THAT WERE KEPT, I LEARNED THAT SHE WAS A SCHOOL TEACHER IN MISSOURI. JOHN DIED ON FEB. 10 1893. HIS SON GEORGE,WHO WAS MY GRANDFATHER,WAS BORN ON MARCH 26 1881.HE SOMEHOW FOUND WORK IN LOUISIANNA BECAUSE THAT WAS WHERE MY FATHER WAS BORN ON JULY 28 1914. I'M NOT SURE IF ANY OF THIS CAN HELP YOU BUT IF IT DOES PLEASE LET ME KNOW. WE MIGHT BE RELATED SOMEHOW .
