The Ensor family(s) of Washington County, KY may be a collateral interest of mine. The mother of Stephen and, I believe, James, was Docia Stephens of Fauquier Co., VA, and I have been researching to see if this is my Stephens line.

Anyway, in poking around I came across this letter from Stephen Ensor. Maybe you can glean some information from it.
