I've been looking at "The Ensminger Family" by Raymond Martin Bell (1965) online and wonder if anyone has any more information on Milton U. Ensminger (b. 1823) than is included. He was the son of George Ensminger, who died in Hancock Co., OH, and the brother of Perry and Lyman and others. The only info included on Milton is that found in the 1850 census where he had children from his first wife (Phidelia Bills) and lived with a second wife (Amanda). But in 1860 he lived in Wood Co., OH with the same first children plus more children, plus a new wife named Julia (at least, she seems to be a wife). I'm interested in their son, John F. Ensminger, who then lived in Seneca Co. in 1870 with Julia and her new husband, Benjamin Leonard. I assume Milton died. Does anyone know any more about Milton or the rest of this family?
