I was doing some looking around for my Ensminger and came across some info on your Ensmingers. I dont know what you have and need so I will just start with parents of Vernon and backwards. Vernons parents Allen H.Ensminger born 1890 Ks and Jessie M. McAlster born 1886 Ky, Allen's parents David R. Ensminger b.January 1857 Pa. wife Mary Fackler or Fachler b.November 1859 Pa.,David's parents,Peter b.1818 Pa.,wife Rebecca b.1827 Pa. On the 1900 Census David R. and family are in Carlyle Twp.Allen Co. Ks.,1910 census Allen H. Ensminger along with wife Jessie are in Allen Co. and Jessie's mother is living with her name Sallie Mcalster age 65 b.Ky. Have alot more info but need to get this to you for now. Hope it helps
