Elijah Ensminger (also known as Kligah) of Shelby County, Indiana married Nancy Jane Andrews (or Anders) on August 07, 1856. She was the daughter of Henry D. Anders and Sidney Ann Harrell.
His second wife was Clorinda Lenie Oldham daughter of Matilda Harrell & Joseph O. Oldham. They married on July 26, 1862.
All three are buried in Brandywine Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana.
Matilda & Sidney Ann Harrell were the daughters of Rev. Byrum Harrell & his first wife Sally Oldham Pertle.
Clorinda Lenie Oldham & Elijah Ensminger had a son named John Mack Ensminger.
John Mack Ensminger married another Harrell descendant of Byrum (Ida May Harrell) by Byrum's 2nd wife Sally Hubble though their son, William H. Harrell & I show 5 children by John Mack & Ida May Harrell Ensminger.
I have some questions if anyone can help me:
1) Did Elijah & Nancy Jane have any children?
2) Did Elijah & Matilda have more children than John Mack, Minnie Charlotte, William Thomas & Linna?
3) Were there more then 5 children of John Mack & Ida May Harrell? (Jessie Pearl, ALta, May, Hazel Oleatha, & Josie Carolyn)
