Chattanooga Times, (Hamilton Co. TN) Tuesday, April 23, 1996:
“Clyde E. Ensley, 78, of Cleveland, Tenn., died Sunday in a hospital there. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a Baptist and preceded in death by five brothers. Survivors include two brothers, Harlan and Clint Ensley, both of Cleveland; four sisters, Martha Stephenson, Nellie Stone, both of Cleveland, Martha Stephenson, Grace Meece, both of Old Fort, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Miller and the Rev. Lee Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Frazier’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Grissom Funeral Home, Cleveland.”
