It was difficult, and there is an accounting of it in the oral history that was typed out, which I can share once I get to that point in the binder (it is about 30 pages in and I am on single digits in typing into the computer). They were eventually reunited, and I think they stayed in good contact especially once her grandchild was born. I'll try to get names and date on that.
