Thanks for the update. I have actually found at least 3 Solomon Ensleys way back there, and it is easy to confuse them. There is a Will Of Solomon Ensley posted online, who is easy to confuse with our Solomon, but it is not him.
I don't get on here much due to disability. I mostly rely on a cousin of mine who has all the Ensley info I had referred to. Like you, I believe this family was Annesley. There are marvelous articles and pictures online about Annesley Manor in Nottingham, which I believe to be our ancestral home.
