I found Michael, parents, and siblings on the 1920 Census in Whiting, Lake Co., IN. Looks like he was born 1914.

Father was Charles, born 1881 in Hungary. Mother was Polly Kaudesky, born 1886 in Hungary.

Charles W Fowdy 14, b NJ
John J Fowdy 12, b NJ
Mary Fowdy 10, b IN
Helen Fowdy 8, b IN
Michael Fowdy 6, b IN

Also in the home: bros-in-law, John and Stephen Kaudesky, (mistranscribed as Kanowski but someone posted a correction on the Ancestry.com page). They were born in Hungary.
