Here is the info that I have on Alfred Ensley.
Alfred Webb Ensley was born Nov 3, 1832 in Buncombe Co., NC. He enlisted Apr 12 1862 in the 60th North Carolina Infantry, Co. A. Upon the surrender of the 60th, Alfred transferred to the 58th NC Infantry, Co. E. on Apr 9, 1865.
He married Mary Jane Miles and had at least four children. Alfred died Jan 6, 1910 in Alexander, Buncombe Co., NC. and is buried in Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Alexander, Buncombe Co., NC
His brother Adolphus also served with the 60th NC Infantry.
He is my first cousin, 4tr. I would love to have a copy of his service records. Bernie Cooper bcooper@valornet.com
