I'm not a Ensley researcher, but for those who are, here is an interesting entry in the book MARRIAGES and DEATHS From THE NEW YORKER (Double Quarto Edition) 1836 - 1841, by Kenneth Scott (Washington, D. C.: National Geographic Society, 1980), on page 47:
