You forgot a borther james w chaffin as well. He was a native of briceland and I believe born in phillipsville. Actuaclly called phillips flat back in the day.
Arron chaffin was one of four people that lived there. He had 120 acres of land there until 1889 when he had passed away and his land went to probate. I got a copy of the newspaper article to back that up. Arron was a real pioneer back in the day. I also have copies of newspaper obits for Eliza and here sisters and brother.
Eber deforest gray was my great grandfather on my mothers side. We may have family in canada possibly as they immigrated there from scotland,alhthough it's not in stone.
I have family pics of him and also of fedelia and a copy of a hand written letter of hers I got from a relative in Bellingham washington. My grandmother was Della Mae Gray and my mother was sylvia mae Piccini. We tie to a number of families.
