Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

If you know where he died check obits of that town to see if in the writeup it gives his birth place, also check death record as most give place of birth and sometimes parents. Also at times gives person name and relationship of one giving information for death certificate.check gravestone for dates.
I just check for a Roland Enos in the SSdeath list:
Roland Enos SS#527-05-4438 issued in Arizona, born 10 Mar 1919, died Apr 1974.
It is possible that this is your Roland. Worth checking out.
Dean
