I am writing to you as a result of seeing your Pedigree Resource File on FamilySearch.org.I am in the process of developing DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) applications for several of my ancestors. One of them could be the ancestor for Mary Ann Enochs (b. 25 June 1782, d. 13 Sept 1866) who married Joseph Willford Jr.I am related to her through her daughter, Susannah, who married James Monroe Graham.
I found a few references to Mary Ann’s parents being John Enoch (born 1735 or 1750 or 1767) and Catherine Gaar Foulks. However, I can’t find any substantial proof creating that linkage.I am fairly certain that she is related to one of the many Enochs residing in the Tenmile Creek area of Virginia during the 1700s.I am also fairly certain she could be related to either Henry Enoch I or Henry Enoch Sr.
On the off chance that more information might be found on Family Search, to my surprise I found that you had linked Mary Ann to Henry Enochs II!!What wonderful news!!Would it be possible for you to provide me with any proof documents that you found that led you to this conclusion? You can email them to me at [email protected].
With your information in hand, I will be in a better position to complete the DAR application.I would be happy to forward those documents to you upon completion.Thank you so very much.I look forward to hearing from you.
