There are some errors in the message about William Ennis b. 1613. He came to Northampton County, Va. in 1635. His son Cornelius died without issue, having married Elizabeth Smith. William's son Samuel married Mary Smith, sister of Elizabeth Smith. he had a son Cornelius(d, 1728) who married Mary Bishop. William's daughter percis married Edward Smith Junior, brother of Elizabeth and Mary Smith. Smith died in 1687. Frances daughter of William and Percis Ennis married Thomas Pointer who d. 1705. Finally, Parthenia, daughter of William and Percis Ennis married John Smock, then HENRY REED, and finally Thomas Morris and she died in 1720. Edward Smith, Jrs. will mentions brother in law Samuel Ennis. If Edward Smith Jr. is mentioned as executor in Nathanieel Ennis' will in 1697, I do not know who he is as Edward Smith Jr was dead without issue a decade before that. i think perhaps Edward Smith Jrs. will mentions Nathaniel Ennis as his exec in 1687. I'll have to look at the will to see for sure, though.
