I am looking for any information on a Donald
Ennis. He was a child in Chicago in 1923,
son of Claude Wellington and Cora Ennis.
His father Claude was a musician at Valentino
Cafe in Chicago in the early 20's. I don't
know anything about his mother. His father
died there at the age of 34 of a heart
problem. I checked City Directories of a
few years after that and there is no Cora
Ennis listed. This man could still be alive.
I have checked the SS Death Index and did
research on the possibilities. No luck. If
per chance Cora did remarry the boy could
have been adopted by the stepfather. My dad
would have been his half brother. He died
in 1956 never knowing he had a brother.
Any help would be appreciated.
