Ennis b.abt 1799 and d. 12nov1827 and Mary (Polly) Ryals b.1805 d.?, dau of Richard Ryals and Milbra (Milly) Baggett of Cumberland Co.,N.C.
I saw mention of where William Lee and Eliza Ennis sold land to John Ennis, do you think this could be John's sister or niece for I know John had a brother name Raymon, but I am almost certian his father's name was Riamon to, for a Raimon shows up in the 1790 census of Cumberland Co and also ran across a land deal for a Raimon Ennis in Cumberland Co in 1794. To make a long story short Iam trying to find some proof on who John Ennis' parents were. By the way is this Lovit you g-grandfather or was his son, I have a booklet o Lovit Ennis Sr. about him and his cousin's The Ryals in the Civil War if you are interested let me know. Also have a copy of Richard Ryals Will and a copy of Peter Godwins where he Mentions his dau. Kisiah Ennis.I have a list of people buried at the Ennis Cemetery in Johnston Co. will loo up and let you know the names of Whitmans buried there, I am also related to the Whitmans from Johnston and Duplin Co. though my Mothers side. Once a year around August my greatuncle Delano Ennis that lives in Erwin, and some more relatives get together and go and clean up the Cemetery, I went last year but there was not a lot of people there maybe if we speard the word there will be a lot this year, also have you heard anything about the Ennis Family Reuioun in Benson supposely they have been having it for the past 20 years are so, trying to find out when this year, because I would really love to go, heard people(Ennis') come from all over the country for it.Hope to hear from you soon, your cousin, Helen Ennis Williams in Fayetteville, N.C.
