Interested to know where ASWELL HUGHES got his given name from.
My surname is ASWELL and I have links to Lamar County, Texas, ca.1875.
S.D. ASWELL married JANNET CAMPBELL, 12/30/1873, Lamar Co., TX.
My grandfather, McCOY CAMPBELL ASWELL was born in Lamar Co., Paris, TX in 1875.
We are not sure if this S.D. ASWELL is the father of McCOY ASWELL.
