I am looking for info on Harvey Ennis son of Thomas R. & Harriet Elizabeth Newman Ennis
I have discovered a newspaper article about him robbing the bank in Lipan, Hood Co., Texas. Since then, many people have told me of him being quite a ROGUE! I understand he found pride the fact that he could escape from any jail. Does anyone know of this man and his exploits as a theif and escapee? Did he marry and have a family? He had some brothers: Richard "DICK" Ennis, John Devalson "J.D." (m.Winnefred "Winnie" and MarvinCleveland "Cleve" Ennis(m.-Ada Cawood); along with some sisters: Marry "Mamie" Ellen (m.-Walter Bishop), Lillie Marie (m.-John Allen), Teshie, Eliza Jane Ennis(m.-John W.Brown). His half siblings were: Wyoma "Oma"(m.-??Hulmn), General Dewey"Bud" Ennis(m.-Minnie Mae McKee), Lori Mae, and Ruby Mae Ennis(Jack Meadders). Any info on this man, his family,life, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
