I am looking for any information on the ENNIS family from Long Branch, NJ. I know very little about them. My great great grandmother was Susan ENNIS (b. about 1842 in Ireland) she married Henry GRAY, (b. June 1843 in England), in 1874. They had 5 children: Anna b. 1876, Mary b. 1877, Harry b. 1879, Thomas b. 1881, and Julia d. in infancy - all born in NJ. After marrying, they lived in East Orange, NJ.

Susan's parents were Martin & Mary ENNIS. I am trying to find information about her parents, siblings, etc. I know that the ENNIS family lived on Broadway in Long Branch NJ in the late 1800's, early 1900's. They may have lived there earlier, or they may have lived in the Newark, NJ area. An elderly relative once told me that Susan had alot of sisters, including "aunt Ellie".
