My father was Harold Edmund Ennis. b. Asansol, India b.10.11.1911. d 5.1.1990.
Son of Thomas Ennis and Pauline Transfield.
Thomas Ennis originated in Ireland. In 1853 he was sentanced to a term in Australia for theft...as was HIS father. On board to the good transportation ship Amazon. I have a few details..dates etc if you think there may be a connection.
