Was his name George Washington Ennis? That was my mother's great-grandfather. He was from Nashville, TN, and if I remember correctly, a coal miner. My mother's family has the birth/death certificates. What info do you have concerning the Ennis family of that lineage dating back to immigration from Ireland? I would be interested.
