Some researchers have identified the wife of William Ennis, Sr. as Percis Scott. Others have said Percis, maiden name unknown.
Either way, I haven't been able to figure out how that connection was made. I haven't yet found any records that give the name of William's wife, who was already deceased by the time he made out his will.
Can anyone help with this?
This is the William Ennis or Innis who immigrated to the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1635 and subsequently moved to Somerset County, Maryland.
I do realize that Percis Scott was the child of Walter and Apphia Scott and that she was born circa 1624 in Virginia.
