Dear Thomas, The info I have in regards my Ennis family going to Canada was from the memory of my 80+ year old Grandmother Caroline (Mollie) Mary Ennis, daugther of David. Unfortunatly I have at this point found no info stating whom, where or when, other than William, who immigrated to USA, (Ennis, Montana) travelling with his father John, who 4 years later returned to Kirkistown in Ireland.
The only memories I have passed on from Mollie was that 3 or 4 of David's siblings went to USA & Canada and that she spoke of her father writing to a relative , schoolteacher in Canada, either a sibling or siblings child.
Time period would be guess work only and would be circ. 1835 to 1855. Amherst is the likely starting point, but I don't know for certain.
I am happy to work with & share any information I have to see if & where the connections are.

Regards, Stuart
