Hi Stuart -

I wonder if there is some coonection ...

My gg grandfather was John Ennis born 1805 in Kircubbin, son of William Ennis. John Ennis married Mary McGee and they emigrated to Amherst Island, Ontario in about 1840; in about 1849 they moved on to Marquette County, Wisconsin. They had 10 children: Thomas, Elizabeth, William, Mary, John, Hugh, George, James, Samuel and David. Hugh Ennis was my g grandfather.
