My G.G.Grandfather, John Ennis was born in Kirrcubbin Glenn, County Down in the late 1700s. He married Mary
(McCoy??) and had 10 children, born in the Kirkistown area, Parish Ardkeen, County Down. Flora brn 1815, Brice 1818, Brice 1820, John 1823, Nathanial 1825, William 1828, Sarah 18?? Ruth Ellen 1832, Mary 1835 and David my G.grd.father was born in 1837. 1 sibling (Brice) died as an infant, William went to Montana USA, died following being shot in Montana outside a bank, 3 or 4 siblings went to Canada, with David going to Austrailia to the gold mines, then 2 years later to New Zealand, where our family line has developed. Common family names include: Brice, Henry, James, William, John, Nathanial, Thomas, Mary, Ruth, Ellen and Sarah. If this fits your family history, then we are possibly related. I have some infomation on marriages of 4 siblings in Ireland before family members migrated. Family links include McWhirr & Donnan. In NZ they include McIntyre & O'Keef. I am looking for information to fill the gaps from circ. 1780 to 2008 to extend my knowledge on my Ennis family. Regards, Stuart
