We are looking for an Eliza Ennis who was born in New York City approx. 1851-52 to Michael Ennis and Mary (Fitzgerald) Ennis who had emigrated from Ireland approx. 1850. Eliza and her siblings were orphaned there at a young age when Mary died and Michael went off to war. The boys ended up in Ohio via Orphan Trains but we have never located the girls. Eliza (Elizabeth) was the oldest child followed by Michael, James, Mary, George (my great grandfather), and Annie.
