My grandmothers maiden name was Bertha Enves born Selsey, Sussex in 1886.A cousin has taken the family tree back to Alexander Envis who married Ann Booker in 1810.Prior to this date nothing is known.Over the years the name has been spelt Enves / Envis. My father claimed he had "Irish Blood". Has anyone found their Ennis(es) name spelt as Envis.
