My error. Thomas Lincoln applied for land in Cumberland Co., Kentucky, in 1806, NOT 1815, and David and John Crews
were the chainbearers for the survey, but Mr. Lincoln
could not get a clear title on the land so he moved on
North. David Crews was born on 18 December 1789, son of
Redman Crews (Rev War soldier) and lst wife,Sarah Morton.
