Aseph T. who married Sara Kennedy was the oldest child of Abraham Enloe and Sara (Sally) Edgerton who married in Rutherford Co. N.C. 1795.Abraham and Sara Edgerton had 15other children which they reared on the Oconoluftee River. Their home is now just inside the Great Smokey National Park. Deeds show Abraham and son Aseph T. bought Macon Co. property in 1838. N.C. census 1840 shows Sara Kennedy a widow.Land belonging to Aseph T. and Sara Kennedy was sold at sheriff's auction 1839,along Tuckaseegee River.Abraham Enloe recovered 300 acres for a bid of $l.00.Sara Kennedy moved her family to Alabama including son: Aseph T.Apparently Abraham Enloe didn't approve of this move for he left the wife and children of son, Aseph T. in his will: $1.00.
