An aside: my cousin is Hugh Gratton Murray, Jr., MD, of Atlanta, grew-up Charlotte, N.C., of a long line of Murray Presbyterian ministers.

I have her fuller name as Mrs. Mary Anna "Mammie" Malone Enholm. Do you know her birth/death/marriage dates and where buried? Is Sgt. Enholm there also? Was my Capt. Edward Malone, Sr., CSA, and his brother 2nd Lt. Thomas Malone, Jr., CSA, her brothers? Thomas Malone, Sr., (in Pickett's Alabama Biography book) in 1802 was U.S. Land Office agent, U.S. Magistrate, and asst. U.S. Indian agent, Ft. St. Stephens, Alabama, from Malone's Mill Creek, Warren County, N.C., son of Bute Co. Rev. War militia Ens. Wood and Barsheba Malone. Thomas Malone, Sr., died "Milford", Alabama, Feb. 17,1850, age 78. Wife Mary S. Malone died Milford, Jan 14, 1838, age 49. I seek the names of her parents? Also the location of "Milford", which I suspect was north of Satsuma, near Malone's Bridge near Interstate 65 and U.S. 43. There may be two old Malone graves there? Thomas had a lumber mill. I suspect it is the site of a mill at a river fording? Ens. Wood Malone's father was John Malone of Malone's Bridge and Malone's Crossing (about a half mile apart, a river ford), Dinwiddie County, Virginia. Mrs. Katherine M. Corley, 5308 Hareley Road, Satsuma, AL 36572, descends Ivy Malone. John Wm. Malone, Jr., Rt. 1, Box 241, Hope Hull, AL 36043, descends John Malone, Esq., 1755-1801, of Dinwiddie Co., Va., died South Carolina. Mur, please tell me about your "Mur" (nickname?) as it is also "Murlee"? My other Mobile ancestors are Russell, Hollinger,, Rochon, de Juzan, and kin are Ollis, King, Bingham, Ogden, Tuttle, Finley, Owens, Semmes, de Tonty, de Liette, Sossaman. Thomas Malone, Sr's will is in Wills and Estates Settlements book 2, page 217, 3?9, Jan. 22, 1850. There was a law suit, De Vendal v Malone's Executioners, in 25 Ala. pages 272 and 278 (1854) that might be informative? I've never seen the will which might locate "Milford" and bequeath the grave site? Are there any counties/families in N.C. you are interested in?
