Thanks for the email. Here is the information that I have.

English, Aden
Born in Burke County and resided in McDowell County where he was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in Mitchell County at the age of 33 on July 13, 1862. Mustered in as a private in Company A, 58th North Carolina Troops. Transferred to Company K of this regiment on or about July 29, 1862. Promoted to corporal prior to December 19, 1862, when he was furloughed for twenty days from Big Creek Gap, Tennessee. Failed to return from furlough and was reduced back to the ranks prior to March 1, 1863. Returned to duty on April 18, 1863. Reported absent sick in September-October 1863. Returned to duty on an unknown date. Detailed for duty as a teamster on November 19, 1864, by reason of unwellness for field duty. Transferred to Company F of this regiment on an unknown date. Paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina, on May 1, 1865.

English, James Henry
Born in mcDowell County and was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in mcDowell County at the age of 29, on July 14, 1862. Mustered in as a private in Company F, 58th North Carolina Troops. Deserted on or about September 25, 1863. Rejoined Company on October 25, 1863. Court-martialed on November 13, 1863. Reported in confinement at Athens, Georgia, in January-February 1864. Returned to duty in March-April 1864. No further records.
