Between 1854 and 1856 John and Martha Englet went to Hopkins, Co. Tx. Their daughter Mitilda died along the way. The 1860 census of Hopkins Co. Tx. list Inglet, John age 59, born Ga. Wife Martha age 44 born Al. Nancy age 16, Sarah E. age 14, Richard age 8, Julia Ann age 6, and Emma age 2. There was a Susanna Gunn age 20, born Al. living with them. The only child I have information on is John, listed in the 1850 census Clarke Co. Al. age 13. In 1860 he was in Kaufman Tx. living by himself. In 1868 He went to Nashville and enlisted in the Union army. This John was my great grandfather. The rest of this family stayed in Texas, John and Martha are in the 1870 census there. My great grandfather, John is in the 1870 census of Giles Co. Tn. with wife Ann Bunch.
