INGOLDSBY, ENGLESBY, INGALSBY, ETC.

I have an original copy of the book "Ingoldsby Genealogy", which shows the verious derivations of the original English name Ingoldsby. Written by Frederick W. Ingalsbe sometime in the early 1900s. The name was bestowed on an English village by the Danes sometime between 1000 and 1200. The book traces the Ingoldsby family back to the early 1200s, and follows the many spelling changes of the name over the centuries.

I would be glad to look up information for any of you who do not have access to this book

Also, you can access the contents of the book in the Brobst on-line data base, worldconnect URL below. I am in the process of extracting that information from the Brobst data base into an Ingoldsby data base; more on that later.
