Our family communicated with Father Sebastian
many times during the 1940s and sent him many parcels of goods via the Chilean naval ship which visited every six months. We also met Chilean Navy officers in San Francisco when the ship visited SF and they told us stories about Fr. Sebastian. We later heard that he was brought to New Orleans by the US Navy, where he died. He had written us that he was from Bavaria, around Aschaffenburg. I would be interested in further info on him Please e-mail me.
