My g-grandfather, Sebastian, b. 1850 in Gutenberg, GER. married my g-grandmother, Catherine Denninger, b. 4-15-1854 in Alsace-Lorraine, FR. Story goes after coming to America they were on way to Iowa in 1881 via rail, stopped in Chillicothe, MO and after putting the family up in a hotel he mysteriously left. Catherine raised family of six children in Chillicothe. Family had no information about him until May 1936 when they were told he'd had an "accident" in Kansas City (possibly jumped off bridge). May have gone by C.E. Englert after leaving family. Seeking info on his parents and any possible siblings as well as what he did after leaving Chillicothe.
