Hello to all. Francis Engler of Worthington Iowa was my grandfather. (That makes me pretty old) My grandmother was Martha Smith. As a child I visited my grandmother in Worthington. I remember there being a "Pros" Engler and a "Dorly" Engler that lived on a farm just outside Worthington (north east side). Also there was an Engler family living just east outside Worthington who I believe were related to either "Pros" or "Dorly." Frank and Martha had sons Jacob (then in Dubuque), Ralph (farming west of town), Andrew (in Dyersville), Joseph (Cedar Rapids) Carl (St. Cloud MN) and Norbert (Cedar Rapids. There was one daughter Emerence married to Hiller Smith (farming south of town).
