I would be interested in corresponding with anyone who has Fletcher ancestry from Erlestoke. Specifically, I am descended from Emily Fletcher b. 15 0ct 1807, near Pickwick according to her tombstone). She may have been related to an Elizabeth 'Flacher' born in 1788 in Erlestoke, daughter of Jonathan. Believe Elizabeth md. George Bawn. Elizabeth Bawn immigrated to the USA with Emily Fletcher and husband, Stephen Walker.
One other Fletcher tie--Stephen and Emily's granddaughter, Edith Smith, married Alfred J. Austin, son of Alfred Francis and Charity Louisa Fletcher Austin. (Marriage took place in 1880 in Schuyler County, Illinois, USA.)
