Thorney Parish, Nottinghamshire: CALVERT
Posted by: Barbara Stabley (ID *****6786) Date: May 16, 2008 at 09:51:10

In the 1750s and 60s several children of Thomas and Dinah CALVERT were baptised at Thorney Parish in Nottingham, Nottinghamshre, England. Two of those children, Richard and John, immigrated to the United States by 1795. Richard to Boston, later to Maine and finaly settled in St. John, New Brunswick, CAN and John who settled in Lycoming Co., PA.

Are there any descendants of these Thorney Parish Calverts still alive and researching this family? I'm particularly interested in finding a direct line male descendant for the purpose of YDNA testing.
