My immigrant ancestor John Winter came to Massachusetts from England in 1633. Though it appears he lived in London immediately before coming over, some believe he was christened in Attleborough, Norfolk, near Norwich. I am trying to find men named Winter or Winters in Norfolk and London to take the painless and inexpensive test that will help me and other Winter-Winters DNA Project participants sort out our origins in Great Britain and Europe.
