I am looking for information on James KING and his family.
If someone can look at census or something that will give me a clue to more I will absolutely appreciate it!
James was born in Calton, Norfolk in 1820 and he died in U.S.A.
James married Mary S. GILSON in 1844 in the District of Downham.
They had three children born in England and then they went to Canada.
George KING b.1845 Norfolk
Sarah KING b. 1848
William b. 1851 Black Horse Yard
I don't know much about Black Horse Yard.
I know that James fathers name was James King also. I have no idea who his mother is.
Mary GILSONs parents are John and Mary Ann Tibbit/GILSON
Mary Ann was born about 1795 in Feltwell
John GILSON was b. abt. 1794 in Godmanchester-Hun according to their daughters marriage inforamtion. I don't know where Godmanchester-Hun is located.
I have been stuck in place as I am trying to locate information of this family in England. King is such a common name that I am having difficulty locating info or relatives that may know more.
I will appreciate any information on this family.
