See message 45009. Jessie Seery and John Ryan. I have since found that John Ryan senior who would be Jessie Ryan formerly Seery's father in law. John Ryan's Father and my GGgrandfather. John Ryan Senior was born Ireland about 1845. From his Marriage certificate I have found that Kate was formerly Catherine Hall from Ireland. John's Father was a Patrick Ryan born Ireland deceased at the time of the marriage which took placee in Darlington 1873.A Micheal Ryan was a witness at the wedding of John and Catherine. I have since obtained his marriage certificate. He Maried Mary Ann Boyle also from Ireland in 1877.Michael's Father was also given as Patrick so he is most probably the brother of John.In the 1881 census Micheal gives his birthplace as Lan England he would have been born approx 1853. Michael and Ann had one daughter aged 1 year Her name Mary E Ryan. This means that Patrick must have come over with his family possibly wife and other siblings to Lancashire.
