I can't see an Ethel born Sep quarter 1885 with a surname that looks anything like McGillicutty, or more likely McGillicuddy. There are 20+ McGillicuddys in England in the 1901/11 censuses but no Ethel.

You need the marriage in New York to establish her surname, and, dependent on what NY marriage certs show, her father's name.

I wish I had a pound for every upper class girl who was said to have been disowned/disinherited by her family for marrying beneath her!
