Have you any clue to the English County of the Birth, as otherwise it is a fair trauchle to work through the many WDs born around 1829?

BONSFIELD is mainly a Cumberland and north-west Yorkshire name, whilst DIXON is Cumberland and Northumberland, if that helps.
