Day family, Stockbridge or Newmarket jockeys

I have come across a prison record for Thomas Day of Stockbridge, Hampshire. This one it seems went to Australia and got into a bit of trouble. I have taken a photograph of his prison record and can email it to people researching this family.

Some additional info his age is 51 in 1854. Native place Stockbridge Hampshire.
This is a local prison record, not a convict record and it is not online.

There is a lot of info in the photo I took including his description. It states in the Remarks field: Thomas Day is one of the few men who admits his guilt and deplores it. He is the one??? brother to the celebrated Days Jockeys in Newmarket, England. He is himself one of the best grooms and horsemen I have ever met with. He attributes? The whole of his folly and ??? to drink.

The translation is as I can best read it. There is a Marilyn Ponting who may be interested in this but her old email address does not work anymore.
