Hi Phoebe,

There is a marriage which seem to fit. Spelling is not exact, but that is not unusual in records. In the actual image of the page he is listed on it is Linnecor but I suppose whoever indexed it read it wrong - easy to do as the e does look somewhat like c.

England & Wales, Marriage Index, 1916-2005 about Albert Linnccor
Name:       Albert Linnccor
Spouse Surname:       Fletcher
Date of Registration:       Oct-Nov-Dec 1931
Registration district:       Birmingham South
Inferred County:       Warwickshire
Volume Number:       6d
Page Number:       63

AND SPOUSE

England & Wales, Marriage Index, 1916-2005 about Ellen Fletcher
Name:       Ellen Fletcher
Spouse Surname:       Linnecor
Date of Registration:       Oct-Nov-Dec 1931
Registration district:       Birmingham South
Inferred County:       Warwickshire
Volume Number:       6d
Page Number:       63

Notice in her entry Linnecor is spelled correctly

The latest census for England is 1911 and there is an Albert Linnecor listed, so could possibly be the same fellow.

1911 DUDDESTON, ASTON, WARWICKSHIRE, ENGLAND
10 LESTER SQ. GREAT LISTER ST.
LINNECOR
Walter, age 49, strip caster, worker

Hannah, age 37, wife, pollisher, loyale fittings, worker

Hannah, age 15, daughter, lathe screw maker, worker

Beatrice Kate, age 14, daughter, warehouse girl, worker (cannot read words after warehouse girl)

Phoche, age 13, daughter, school

George, age 10, son, school

Liby, age 8, daughter, school

Rose, age 5, daughter, school

Albert, age 3, son

all are shown born Birmingham, Warwickshire

by the way Phoche as indexed is actually Phoebe in the image

There is a marriage for Walter Linnecor in 1893 Birmingham to Hannah Dipple
Walter died in 1933 Birmingham

earlier census show his parents as George and Phoebe both born Birmingham

their marriage is listed as 1845 West Bromwich, Staffordshire - George Linnecor and Phoebe Arnold
there must have been some reason they married there ?

let me know if you would like me to give you the other census info

Carolyn L
