Help me find my Convict Ancestor on the English Prison Hulk YORK 1823-1825.

Hello
I am trying to find my ancestor who I think was on the Prison Hulk "YORK" before being sent to Australia in 1825.
He would have been on the hulk at Portsmouth from September 1823 till about 17 April 1825 when the Norfolk 1 left fo Sydney Cove.
Does anyone have a list of the Convicts on the York or the Convict letters as I am not currently subscribing to Ancestry.com.
His name is James MAIDS born 1806 in Rothwell Northamptonshire and convicted at Midlands Circuit Assizes on 7 July 1823.
Also if anyone has access to the England and Wales Criminal Registers 1791-1892 for a copy of his sentence which originally was Death.
Any help would be great.
Regards
Ernene
