John Stephenson (abt 1802-1894) of Carlisle, Cumberland and London Twp, Ontario

My 3rd greatgrandfather John Stephenson of Carlisle, Cumberland, England had a daughter Jane born Nov 11, 1818. According to family history his wife's name was Ann but this may not have been her legal name. They emigrated to London Township, Ontario, Canada before 1837. I found a land petition for London Township for 1837.
He apparently had sons John of Ingersoll, Ontario and Thomas of Ailsa Craig. Thomas's line established T. Stephenson and Sons funeral home in Ailsa Craig, Ontario, Canada. He also had 6 daughters including Jane who married Samuel Paisley December 23, 1839 in London Township, Ann who died young, Betsy who married Issac Whitfield Stayner and 3 others.
I have found tombstones for John Stephenson in London Township cemeteries but can't be sure if any is his.
Does anyone have any information about John or his family?
