Parsons Family, Stroud, England
It appears four brothers emigrated to Jefferson County, Kansas in the late 1860s/early 1870s. They may have been from Stroud, England. One of George's sons, Henry, was recorded as being born in Stroud in some family information.
George Parsons, b 1817 England
James Parsons, b 1827 England
John Parsons b 1826 England
William Parsons b. 1835 England
All four later lived in Leavenworth, Kansas. Several family members appeared to become involved with the mining industry and moved to Colorado in the 1920s.
There may have been a sister Rebecca, b 1829, or this could have been George's wife, who was named Rebecca. A Rebecca Hall identifies herself as the aunt of James Parson's daughter in a Leavenworth, Kansas Census in the early 1900s.
Any information on the English origins of the family would be appreciated.
