Does anyone have any connection with the Poole family of Trent in Somerset (now Dorset), England? I am researching Joseph Poole, an agricultural labourer born in Trent circa 1786, and his daughter Jane, born circa 1818. I have census info on a Joseph Poole of Trent and his children, but I don't know if this is the same one. Jane was already married to Reuben Brooks by the time of the 1841 census and not living with her parents. If it is the same Joseph, then Jane would probably have been his eldest child.
